In recent years,angle sensors have been widely used in the state detection of large engineering structures.However,the traditional electric and magnetic angle sensors have the disadvantage of poor anti-electromagnetic interference and low sensitivity,which makes it difficult to accurately measure the vector angle.Fiber optic angle sensor has the advantages of high sensitivity,strong reusability and distributed measurement.Therefore,this paper proposes to study the fiber optic sensor used for vector angle measurementOn the basis of analyzing and summarizing the types and research status of angle sensors,and comparing the advantages and disadvantages of different angle sensors,this paper proposes vector angle sensors based on fiber grating array,and uses them to carry out multi-directional angle measurement,including:Firstly,the method of calculating the output spectrum of long period fiber grating(LPFG)partially immersed in solution based on the transfer matrix method was studied.The LPFG array was designed for multi-directional angle measurement,and the multidirectional angle sensing characteristics based on LPFG array were simulated and analyzed.The response of fiber Bragg grating(FBG)to axial stress is studied,and the FBG array for omni-directional angle sensing is designed.The omni-directional angle sensing characteristics based on FBG array were simulated and analyzed.Secondly,the multi-directional vector angle sensing unit based on LPFG array was prepared,and the angle measurement experimental system was built.The experimental results verified the multi-directional angle sensing characteristics of the array.The angle calculation method and sensitivity of the sensor were analyzed.Finally,the omni-directional vector angle sensing unit based on FBG array was prepared,and the angle measurement experimental system was built.The omni-directional angle sensing characteristics of the array were verified experimentally.The peak finding method of the output spectrum of FBG array was studied.The angle calculation method and sensitivity of the sensor were analyzed.
