As an important direction for the evolution and upgrading of the new generation of information and communication technology,5G is an important force for the realization of information infrastructure of the Internet of Everything and the digital transformation of the economy and society.5G technological innovation has become the focus of innovation in various countries.Industry university research has become a mainstream innovation model for breakthrough technological innovation.The cooperative innovation network through multilateral exchanges can better reflect the evolutionary trend of technological cooperation and innovation.This article aims at 5G technology,from the perspective of cooperation,constructs innovation main body network and regional cooperation network,analyzes the overall structural characteristics and the evolution of network nodes.This article selects the Incopat patent database,collects 5G technology industry university research cooperative invention patent data from 2003 to 2019,uses social network analysis,and uses Ucinet,netdraw and excel to construct network topology and data analysis.The research results show that the scale of the innovation main body network is gradually expanding,but network density is declining,and there are more small groups in the later period,and the overall network tends to be loose;the core node has evolved from the early Huawei Co.,Ltd.to the later State Grid Co.,Ltd.,Tsinghua University performs well in different stages,the research institute's cooperation ability is relatively weak.For innovation regional networks,network connections are gradually increasing,but some regions have large innovation gaps;core nodes are gradually shifting from Guangdong to Beijing,and Beijing's innovation status is more prominent;Jiangsu and Shanghai have relatively high cooperation breadth and cooperation depth;Shaanxi,Sichuan have shown good potential;However,in Heilongjiang,Xinjiang and other places,cooperation and innovation are insufficient,and cooperation awareness is weak.
