In the current new media environment,the trend of integration of transmission And reception is increasingly obvious,the audience's standard consciousness is enhanced,the initiative in the transmission process is increasingly enhanced,and the status is increasingly important.Food documentaries can only be recognized by the public by paying attention to the audience's preferences and meeting the audience's expectations.This coincides with the core idea of "reader-centered" in reception aesthetics,which both emphasize the subjective initiative of the audience and attach importance to their thoughts and thoughts.Through combing the previous literature,it is found that the research on the theory of reception aesthetics itself is becoming more and more perfect,and the interdisciplinary research from the theoretical perspective of reception aesthetics also has a lot of achievements.However,this kind of research mainly focuses on the fields of literature and translation studies,and there are few studies integrating the current flourishing development of journalism and communication studies.Under the influence of the change of communication environment,the status of the audience in the field of communication is increasing day by day.To attach importance to the audience,namely the reader,is the communication device among communication,journalism and reception aesthetics.Therefore,the integration of the interdisciplinary research of reception aesthetics,journalism and communication is conducive to the expansion of disciplinary dimensions and the mutual learning of achievements among disciplines.Breakfast China,a food documentary co-produced by Tencent Video and Straits TV,has found an innovative way in today's increasingly fragmented communication environment.It attaches great importance to the needs and preferences of the audience during the whole production and broadcast process,integrates the popular network variety elements into the documentary creation,and creates a new expression way of documentary + variety show.It is the "audience-centered" idea that makes "Breakfast China" both high ratings and good reputation.The way of its success has been widely discussed by scholars recently,but the existing literature mainly starts from the "first text",and it is not systematic.Therefore,this paper innovates the research perspective,starts from the "second text",takes reception aesthetics as the theoretical basis,and integrates the knowledge of journalism and communication to conduct a systematic study on it.This study integrated use of the questionnaire investigation,document analysis and case analysis,the first study analyzed the food the documentary in the current environment,it is concluded that the audience standard consciousness unprecedented increase,documentary recording equipment update,audience watching channel increasingly diverse,increasingly aesthetic experience is increasing day by day,food documentary has its development space,but it must be constantly reform and innovation;Secondly,based on the two core theories of reception aesthetics,"call structure" and "vision of expectation",and with the documentary's own characteristics,this paper makes a systematic analysis of Breakfast China and discusses its emphasis on the second text.Finally,it analyzes the potential problems and countermeasures of "Breakfast in China",and puts forward suggestions for the future development of food documentaries from the perspective of reception aesthetics.First,it is necessary to strengthen the preliminary research,clarify the needs of The Times,and explore the "potential audience".Second,we should attach importance to publicity,strengthen interaction,and build "vision of expectation".Third,the content should be deeply cultivated,the form should be innovated,and the "calling structure" should be prefabricated.Fourthly,we should apply new technologies to innovate sensory experience and enhance "aesthetic experience".
