The Study Of International Influence Development Trends On China's Academic Journals Of Preponderant Disciplines

With proposing to cultivate world-class scientific journals and implementing Project of Excellence Action Plan for China's Scientific Journals,it provides great opportunities for the development of academic journals.Academic journals are one of most important academic communication media.Academic journals and the disciplines are mutual improvement.The development of preponderant discipline journals have more advantages and higher overall benefits.So,it's necessary to study the development trend and international status of preponderant discipline journals.And it's necessary to study the matching degree between preponderant discipline and preponderant discipline journals.This article studies the progress and deficiencies of preponderant discipline journals from their international influence development trends,to provide a reference for the construction of world-class journals in preponderant discipline.Base on those,this article establishes correlation of scientific journals and the disciplines,and studies the international influence development trends of China's academic journals of preponderant disciplines.The following contents were accomplished in this thesis:(1)This thesis selects chemistry as the representative preponderant discipline by comprehensive consideration of the performance of different disciplines in research output and recognition degree in Project of Excellence Action Plan for China's Scientific Journals.(2)This thesis constructs evaluation indicator system for preponderant discipline journals.It contains single indexes,comprehensive indexes and fusion indexes.(3)The performance of SCI chemistry journals in China in terms of scale,influence,and internationalization was analyzed by bibliometric method and the indicator system.(4)Through the investigation by questionnaire,this thesis investigates the researchers in the field of chemistry to know their subjective evaluation about the target journal for their manuscript,the number comparison of their papers that published at home and abroad,the frequency of reading domestic journals and the evaluation of China's chemistry journals.And this article investigates the China's chemistry journals to know their manuscript number,the publication speed,and selfassessment.(5)This thesis combines with the quantitative results and qualitative results to evaluate international influence development trends of China's chemistry journals.The research shows that: the international influence of China's chemistry journals continued to increase,but the scale of journals continued to decline.The international competitiveness of China's chemistry journals were not prominent.The matching degree with disciplines were not enough.(6)By combing with the results of comprehensive analysis,the suggestions for the construction of world-class journals of preponderant disciplines.
