Research On New Technology Of Coherence And Artistry Attention Line Drawing Generation

Line drawing is a simple and effective shape visualization tool that uses simple and numerable lines to represent an image.The characteristics of line drawing mainly include coherence and artistry.Coherence means that artists use coherent lines while painting,and artistry means that artists usually draw stylized lines while painting,which is artistry and attractive.To solve the problem that methods nowadays can not effectively generate coherent line drawings,this paper proposed a new method of coherence enhanced line drawing generation method based on edge tangent flow and saliency map.In this paper,the local continuity of lines is enhanced by filtering along the edge tangential flow.It eliminates the break of lines caused by low gradient values by adjusting filter value according to the saliency value in the saliency map.At the same time,the simplicity and appreciation of line drawings are improved by classifying the lines in the line drawing and defining the significance value for lines,which is used to select lines and remove overly detailed lines and noise.The experimental results show that this method can effectively enhance the coherence of generated line drawings and the main information will be prominent and more ornamental.Although the enhance of the coherence makes line drawings more like free-hand drawing,it can not simulate the style of artists.To solve this problem,this paper proposed a new method of generating line paintings with artistry enhanced by combining the global features and local features of painting,which is based on the studying of the process of artists painting.In terms of global features,curve offset,curve overlap and curve length are combined and parameterized to represent the global style of the line drawing.In terms of local features,lines are generated from edge curve,and the width,sharpness and depth of the lines are combined to parameterize the local features of the line drawing at the line level.The experimental results show that our method can effectively generate artistry enhanced line drawings which are more similar to free-hand drawings.
