| The archival education for the youth provided by provincial archives will help to strengthen the social educational function of the archives,which is the due meaning for the archives to improve the public cultural service capacity in the new era.At the same time,youth education based on archives could give full play to the educational value of archives and cultivates the spirit of patriotism,on the other hand,it could impress young people's understanding of the value of archives and archival work.It could also help the youth to internalize in the heart to form the archival literacy.Therefore,it is of great practical significance for the provincial archives to provide archival education for the youth.Firstly,this paper researches the current situation of archival education for the youth in mainland Hong Kong,Macao and Taiwan,and subdivides the youth audience into children,juveniles and adolescents,through interviews and questionnaires to study the different archival cognition and archival requirements of the different ages.Secondly,on the basis of current situation investigation and requirement analysis,this paper summarizes that the current advantages of the archival education lie in the corresponding management regulations and the favorable social benefits of public archival education activities,the difficulties lie in the weak archival literacy of the youth and the insufficient development of the archival educational resources of the archives.Finally,according to the actual situation of the provincial archives at present and in conjunction with the archival requirements of the young audience,this paper puts forward some practical suggestions for developing archival education capacity in the future from five different aspects,such as planning archival education in advance,diversifying the forms of archival education,enriching the educational resources of archives,innovating the propaganda of archival education and highlighting the pertinence of the archival educational content. |
