Abstract/Summary:
With the rapid development of the Internet,various network information resources and search engines have been born.The main position of the university library providing resources and services is faced with formidable challengeshas.In this context,cultivating loyal library users and maintaining a good relationship between users and the library are vital to the survival and development of the library.Commitment refers to the psychological willingness of users to use the library,and represents the highest stage of the relationship.Users with a high degree of relationship commitment tend to be more loyal.Regardless of the theoretical level or the practical level,the research on the relationship between user commitment and loyalty is of great guiding significance for the construction of the relationship between university library users and the library.Therefore,this research intends to use SPSS and AMOS data processing software to conduct in-depth research and analysis on the relationship between library user commitment and loyalty by issuing questionnaires and data analysis.The main content of this research includes: on the basis of reading a large number of references,combing out the relevant theories of commitment,loyalty and the relationship between the two;developing design commitments,loyalty measurement scales,and current university library user commitments and user loyalty levels Conduct evaluation;construct a theoretical model of commitment-loyalty,put forward research hypotheses,and verify and analyze the relationship between commitment and loyalty.The main results of this research include: University library user commitment includes three dimensions: emotional commitment,continuous commitment and normative commitment.Among them,the user’s emotional level is the highest,followed by the normative commitment,and the user’s continuous commitment is the lowest.User commitment significantly positively affects user loyalty.Among them,normative commitment has the greatest impact on loyalty,followed by continuous commitment,and emotional commitment has the least impact on loyalty.In the future work,in order to improve the level of user commitment,increase user loyalty,promote the construction of long-term friendly relations between users and the library,and ensure the sustainable survival and development of the library,the management measures that a university library should take are as follows: strengthen the scientific research support functions of library,improve the regulatory role for users’ learning(or work)of library;optimize the way library resources are provided and obtained,and improve the level of library information services;improve users Interact quality with the library and actively implement the remedial work of library services.
