Abstract/Summary:
The Internet of Things(IoT),as the third information technology revolution,is rapidly emerging in different application fields,promoting the development of smart lifestyles and improving the economic benefits of society.However,the energy consumption and security faced by the IoT Sensors Layer(ISL)have become the main factors limiting its rapid development.In view of the above problems,this paper will study the efficient routing protocol suitable for ISL from the perspective of considering both the energy efficiency and security of ISL and combining the network characteristics of IoT.The main work and contributions of this paper are as follows.1)In this paper,an Energy Optimization Cluster Head Election Algorithm Based on Node Trust(BT-EOCE)is proposed by considering the factors such as trust value,residual energy and energy consumption rate of nodes.The BT-EOCE algorithm first adds the trust threshold to ensure the security of the nodes participating in the cluster head election,and then modifys the selection threshold of the cluster head by using the influence of the residual energy,and energy consumption rate of the nodes on the cluster head election,so as to further improve the energy utilization rate of the network.The analysis and simulation results show that the BT-EOCE algorithm can effectively improve network security,throughput,and network life cycle.2)Aiming at the problems that the cluster head single-hop data transmission to the base station will cause too fast energy consumption and the network has no security defense mechanism,a Secure Multi-Hop Routing Protocol Based on Genetic Algorithm(GA-SMHR)is proposed.The GA-SMHR algorithm first selects highquality and safe cluster heads by considering factors such as the trust value,residual energy,coverage,and communication distance of nodes to undertake heavy data fusion and transmission tasks.Then the genetic algorithm is used to find the optimal routing for the cluster-head multi-hop transmission to balance the network energy consumption,thereby improving the network energy efficiency on the basis of ensuring safety.The analysis and simulation results show that the GA-SMHR algorithm can extend network lifetime while ensuring network transmission security.3)In view of the relatively simple security defense mechanism considered by most routing algorithms,this paper makes an in-depth study on strengthening network security,and an Energy Efficient Multi-Level Secure Routing(EEMSR)protocol for ISL is proposed.The EEMSR algorithm deeply analyzes the factors affecting network security from data perception,communication,and fusion,and then establishes different security levels for the network according to the different trust features of the nodes to deal with different types of network attacks.The analysis and simulation results show that the EEMSR algorithm not only improves the life cycle and adaptability of the network,but also significantly improves the security of the network,which is very suitable for large-scale IoT network deployment.
