The prevalence of the COVID-19 has made the online health communication develop unprecedentedly, but at the same time,it has also exposed that the middle-aged and old people,as a generation of digital immigrants, have not adapted well to the online health communication problem,it also gives rise to the phenomenon of reverse parenting within the family. The feedback phenomenon is based on the intergenerational differences between children and their parents in the process of online health communication. In the rapid development of society, the two major trends of aging and digitization hang in the family like Damocles,it exacerbates the digital generation gap between the middle-aged and the elderly and their children. In order to bridge the gap between the two generations and promote the “Re-socialization” of the middle-aged and the elderly,it is of great practical significance to understand the causes and effects of intergenerational feedback behavior. This study was conducted from the perspective of offspring and parents to explore the intergenerational differences between college students and their parents in the process of online health communication, what are the reasons that urge them to feed back or accept feed back, and what are the reasons and effects that college students choose different feed back behavior.Based on the digital generation gap,parent-child communication and UTAUT model, the research framework was constructed and the samples were collected by questionnaire survey,SPSS25.0 software was used to collect the information for factor analysis, correlation analysis, regression analysis and other statistical analysis as the support of the study, combined with unstructured interviews to further supplement the research results. The results show that there is a significant digital generation gap between college students and their parents, family Communication, adaptability of online health communication and promotion intention are the main factors that affect children's and parents'(acceptance)willingness and behavior choice,in the practice of feedback, the influence degree of active communication-type feedback behavior is much higher than that of limited guidance-type and expectation-type.Based on the results of the above empirical analysis and the feedback from the interviewees, this study proposes three suggestions to bridge the generation gap between college students and their parents in the process of online health communication from the internal and external levels of the family: to create a life-long learning atmosphere within the family;Through good communication to promote parent-child two-way socialization;social level needs to form a collaborative effort to optimize the effectiveness of online health communication.
