Research On The Integration Of News Production Model Based On Value Chain In Linked Data Environment

News production can refer to the integration of news practice activities:including the whole process of news gathering,production,distribution,and dissemination.With the rapid development of information technology,the collection and dissemination of information have become faster and more convenient,and traditional news production is far from being able to satisfy people's increasing desire for information.The advent of the big data era provides a data foundation for news production on the one hand but also brings greater changes to news production.The application of data technology in the news field has changed the traditional news production process.The importance of data in news production activities has become increasingly prominent.Linked data provides new ideas and forms for the reform of news production.Its core and essence lie in the semantic interconnection behind the data.The value chain is adopted in a variety of ways to describe the structure of the value creation mechanism and sequential production logic of a specific industry.The introduction of the value chain can make every link of the news production process more scientific and standardized.This article first introduces the basic concepts and theories of linked data,value chain,and news production,and analyzes the role of linked data and value chain in the news production process.Then it summarizes the problems of the traditional news production process.In response to these problems,this article proposes a value chain-based news production process in a linked data environment,which includes a total of five steps: 1)content acquisition;2)content editing;3)content bundling;4)content distribution;5)content consumption.By analyzing the linked data technology used in each step,and integrating the linked data into the content value chain by the British Broadcasting Corporation BBC and adding value to the content-related workflow as a typical case study.On this basis,combined with the general laws of news production,build and verify a news production model based on the value chain in a linked data environment,which will achieve high efficiency and personalization of news,promote the optimization and upgrade of news production processes,and the news production of the media.Practical activities have certain guiding significance.
