In the era of new media,new and interesting spiritual and cultural products are becoming more diverse and richer in content.However,traditional paper books are relatively rigid in form and limited in content carrying capacity.Moreover,the advantages of electronic books in access,access cost and reading convenience have formed a huge impact on the paper book market.In the face of readers’ higher requirements on the novelty of book form and original content,the development space of pop-up book began to appear.The paper art technology is used to create three-dimensional space and movable mechanism,breaking the limitation of the traditional book plane,making the book have movable,playable and diversified sensory interaction experience,and at the same time making it impossible to copy and imitate the e-book,ensuring the uniqueness of publishing.This form of three-dimensional interesting,vivid and lifelike book form,to meet the modern readers for paper book novelty pursuit.In this context,this paper chooses pop-up books for research,focusing on the publisher and readers of the original pop-up book Open the Forbidden City as the main research object.Using case study method,text analysis method,interview method and observation method,through the analysis of the purpose of the publisher’s meaning production and the symbols of pop-up book’s meaning expression,combined with the observation of readers’ comments,messages and discussions on various online platforms and the interview of offline readers,Finally,it is found that the novel and new reading methods of pop-up books meet the needs of readers to acquire knowledge and entertainment.They not only have the function of spreading culture,but also have the value of visual aesthetics.The purpose of meaning production and the development of meaning realization basically show the trend of adaptation.However,in the process of specific meaning production and transmission,there are still some situations that can not fully meet the expectations of readers.This paper puts forward some improvement thinking from the aspects of technology,content design,brand building,publicity and marketing and knowledge service in view of the unbalanced development. |
