Process Optimization Of Software Development For Lutong Corporation

China has rolled out an array of policies in favor of the software industry since 2011.Among others,Lutong Network,in particular,stands to benefit.However,as the company grows rapidly,plenty of problems present themselves due to the less-than-satisfactory software development process.This paper explores how to streamline the process to avoid software development problems and thus facilitate the company's sustainable,rapid growth.Based on relevant theories,this paper investigates Lutong Network's software development process by answering the following three questions:First,what is the problem? This part give us an overview of the company's software development process,and analyzes the problems with the process.We find that the software development process is not normative enough due to the absence of effective and instructional rules.Second,how to optimize? This part is divided into seven sections:(1)an overall optimization plan,specifying the goal and method of optimization,and what to be optimized;(2)framework optimization by standardizing the activities throughout the process,setting up cross-functional teams,and introducing an asynchronous development pattern;(3)requirements analysis optimization by employing the prototype pattern and a leader approval mechanism;(4)system design optimization;(5)coding process optimization;(6)test process optimization;and(7)a before and after comparison which shows that the optimized software development process is normative enough to mitigate high project development risks.Third,how to implement the plan? This part outlines the steps to prepare for and carry out the optimization plan.It also provides the solutions to potential problems that may appear during the implementation of the plan,and proposes the measures for effective,continuous process optimization.Adopting the combined approach of theory and practice,this paper identifies the problems with Lutong Network's software development process and puts forward the optimization measures thereby to improve the company's overall strength.The findings also provide valuable input for comparable companies.
