Different societies have different ideas of time. With the transformation of media from instrumental existence to symbiotic existence, the influence of media on human daily life is further spread, and people's time experience and consciousness are changed accordingly. This paper focuses on human time experience in the new media era, takes time order as the core, and uses the research method of phenomenology of life experience to explore the relationship between individual existence and time experience in the media-oriented society. It is found that, based on the clock time scale rules, media time in the new media era has established a time order combining the clock time and media use, which has a generalized influence on the daily life and psychological state of the masses.Under the influence of technology and time, individuals not only enter the wilderness of time anxiety, but also fall into the time dilemma of life out of control.Specifically, the research subject is divided into four parts. In the first part, through the review of previous literature, this study sorts out the research on time in the context of philosophy and sociology,so as to limit the research on time experience to the social level. At the same time,in the study of the relationship between media and time,a theoretical perspective based on the media environment school is laid down.It also leads to the change of the concept of media time and preliminarily determines the core concept of time in this study. The second part explains the process of human beings from the generation of time consciousness to the establishment of the time order of clocks by tracing the origin of human time history. This study is against the view that the clock time is excluded from social time, and believes that with the support of industrial society, the clock time establishes the internal time order for people to produce and live. The third part divides media time into traditional media time and new media time, and discusses the time experience and time order of the two media. As for the traditional media time, this chapter explains the existence and influence of the traditional media time from two aspects: the emergence of the traditional media and the cultivation of media habits on the audience,It also analyzes the time order of the traditional media period by discussing the relationship between the traditional media time and the clock time. For the new media time, firstly,it analyzes the generation of the new media time and the order standards established.Secondly,it discusses the time experience under the new media time from three aspects: the media to the life of timing, media dailyization and the personalized time. Finally, due to the individual's psychological experience in the new media time state,it traces the reasons why the individual time perception is unpredictable in the media time, and further explores the phenomenon of individual time anxiety under the survival of media time, which leads to the discussion of technology acceleration and leisure reduction. The fourth part mainly discusses the relationship between media time and individual life order from three perspectives.Firstly,it discusses the influence of media time on the daily and transcendence of individuals life,in which people lose the continuous experience of life.Secondly, from the perspective of technology,it discusses the impact of accelerating society and endless work on individual survival.Under the oppression of technology, people enter into a state of "no leisure under media",and lose the free experience of life. Finally,in view of the time dilemma of individual life out of control, the paper reflects on the relationship between human and technology, and proposes the media symbiosis of anti-instrumental rationality.
