The Application And Influence Of Algorithms In News Distribution

Artificial intelligence technology based on computer science has been widely used in all walks of life due to its human-like thinking characteristics.Algorithms,big data,5G and other technologies are quietly changing social production and life.Algorithm is an important technology for the media industry to enter the digital age and is reshaping the news media industry.In the changing environment of the ecological structure of the media industry,the news production mode is also in the process of dynamic change.Algorithms promote the comprehensive reform of the media industry from the core links of information collection,news editing and communication,which is an important dependence of the transformation of traditional media.Therefore,this paper takes "Toutiao" App as the research object,explores the application of Toutiao algorithm,and then studies the influence of algorithm technology in the media industry on news distribution.Toutiao captures news information with crawler software,classifies and aggregates it,and then matches it with user portraits to complete personalized push.However,there are also many problems behind the news distribution dominated by algorithms,such as news value cannot be quantified label and information cocoon room.By analyzing the algorithm with hermeneutics theory,we can discuss the concealment of things and the concealment of words by the algorithm in news distribution from three aspects: "understanding cycle","prior understanding" and "vision fusion".To some extent,the algorithm represents the "prestructure of understanding",which preprocesses the information text with tags.In the subsequent visual fusion of information text,the algorithm constantly corrects its own "bias",so as to achieve the effect of deep learning.In the process of understanding and interpreting the information text,the algorithm will also lead to the imbalance of news value and news ethics due to its own limitations.At the end of this paper,we reflect on the problems brought by the algorithm,such as the imbalance of news value and the weakening of publicity,and try to put forward some suggestions on the hermeneutics of algorithm governance.In the process of generating the algorithm model,parameter setting is used to cut off the possibility that the unreasonable algorithm model's foresight can be transformed into behavior.The ultimate goal of in-process governance is to make the optimal solution of the algorithm include "reasonable foresight".
