With the development of modern society,new media centered on Internet information technology is growing rapidly.New media platforms led by technologies such as 5G,big data,cloud computing and smart media ecology are occupying a large number of media markets.The traditional newspaper industry is also facing the loss of a large number of user groups.The rapid development of new media is not only a shock but also an opportunity for the traditional newspaper industry.How to stabilize the status of the newspaper group in the media market,create the products that are more in line with the needs of current users,and have more users are issues that the current newspaper industry needs to solve urgently.Therefore,it is of great significance to study how the traditional newspaper industry develop itself rapidly in the era of new media.This article takes the users of the "Jiangnan Metropolis Daily" We Chat official account as a sample,from the user's perspective,and uses the research methods of questionnaire survey and in-depth interviews to study how the "Jiangnan Metropolis Daily" We Chat official account should develop.The thesis mainly discusses the following questions from the four dimensions of user motivation,use behavior,media impression,use and satisfaction: the user's motivation to pay attention to the "Jiangnan Metropolis Daily" We Chat official account,how the user's use behavior of "Jiangnan Metropolis Daily" is presented,the user's media impression of "Jiangnan Metropolis Daily" and user satisfaction with the "Jiangnan Metropolis Daily" We Chat official account.Then,based on the above four questions,we will study the direction of development of "Jiangnan Metropolis Daily" We Chat official accountThis article uses a combination of quantitative and qualitative methods to conduct research and a total of 1246 questionnaires and 1195 valid questionnaires were collected.In addition,this research also conducted in-depth interviews with 20 users of different ages,different occupations,and different annual incomes to explore the deeper reasons.After collating relevant documents and scales,this article further considers the users of the "Jiangnan Metropolis Daily" We Chat official account based on the four dimensions of use motivation,use behavior,media impression,use and satisfaction.The study found that users of the "Jiangnan Metropolis Daily" We Chat official account have a higher demand for high-quality content,hotline,online interaction and communication.At the same time,users have a high demand for dependence on the We Chat official account of "Jiangnan Metropolis Daily".In addition,the age of "Jiangnan Metropolis Daily" We Chat public account users is mainly from 21 to 50 years old,and the number of users over 50 years old is very small.Therefore,this research puts forward relevant following suggestions: "Jiangnan Metropolis Daily" We Chat official account needs to optimize content production and insist that content is the key;raise hotline appeals and provide good service with heart;organize regular activities to increase user stickiness;and enhance online interaction to meet the social needs of users.In general,the thesis regards the user as the perspective,based on the theory of use and satisfaction,and combines qualitative and quantitative research methods to explore the alternative ways of traditional newspaper We Chat official accounts under the background of mobile internet,which is innovative.
