People's daily is an organ newspaper of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China.Its mission is to convey the spirit and instructions of the two sessions to the audience at the first time.Therefore,through the analysis of the changes of people's Daily "two sessions special issue" in the past 20 years,including the development and evolution of reporting topics,reporting forms and layout presentation,we can find the changes of media communication concept in a specific period,and also can directly reflect the trend of national policies and the track of economic development.With the method of the historical literature,case study and content analysis,the article focuses on the reports of the "Special Issue of Two Sessions " in People's Daily from 2001 to 2020.The main purpose is to observe how the "Two Sessions Special Issue" reflects the economic development and changes of the times by analyzing it and how People`s Daily can successfully become a giant,which can provide other media with experience and offer appropriate advice to other media about how to give good report of current events.This article is composed of three parts: introduction,body and conclusion.The introduction is the first chapter,including four subsections,which gives a general ideas about the research background,significance of topic selection,research status at home and abroad,and research methods.Chapters 2 to 6 are the main text.Chapter 2first introduces the historical evolution of the "Two Sessions" reports.According to its development and evolution,the "Two Sessions" reports in the People's Daily can be divided into four phases,and there are 1978 to 1989,1990 to 1992,1993 to2000,and2000 to nowadays;and it analyzes the characteristics respectively;then it introduces the situations of development of “Two Session” in the terms of the background,the number of reports,pages and the setting of column.Chapters 3 to 5 discuss features of the People's Daily from the three aspects in report topics,report forms,and report layouts.The last chapter of the thesis is the conclusion,and the research results of this article can be gotten based on the previous research.Through research,Through the research,it is found that people's Daily "two sessions special issue" edition in the choice of reporting content,from the original media standard to the audience standard,actively respond to the national "two sessions" policy,and actively guide public opinion“ The "two sessions special edition" not only has a broad mass base,but also is strongly supported by national policies.The content of the report is highly combined with the needs of the audience,which plays an important role in solving problems for the people.The case study of "two sessions special issue" of people's daily in this paper is also conducive to optimizing the mainstream media's coverage of the two sessions represented by people's daily,and has certain practical significance for improving the political news coverage in the future.
