Urban image is a film and television work that reflects the daily life of urban residents with the narrative background of contemporary urban living space.Since the new century,China's urbanization process is accelerating,the development of urban economy and culture is changing with each passing day,and the image of the city image is becoming a great concept.This paper chooses the image of Chongqing as the research object,because the image of Chongqing stands out among the cities of the same level in China during this period and becomes the spatial projection of many image narratives.At the end of the 20 th century,after Chongqing was listed as a municipality directly under the Central Government,the urbanization process was continuously accelerated under the support of relevant policies and the guidance of geographical advantages.Great changes have taken place in chongqing in the 21 st century,the city's rapid economic development,urban space constantly optimized,residents living standards improve,the problem of urbanization is also growing,which caused the attention of numerous director,also provides a shooting the film creation related to city environment,the city of chongqing has gradually become a new movie.Therefore,the author locates the research object at the representative and influential film works shot in Chongqing after 2000,and explores the image of Chongqing in image texts.This study based on text analysis,case analysis and other methods,in-depth analysis of the relevant text,images from multiple symbols,narration,culture Angle discusses the specific construction of chongqing city image,answered "film is how to present chongqing's image","movie how to construct the image of chongqing" and other issues,and to sum up the image of the city's image construction strategy,In order to provide reference for the future image construction of Chongqing or other cities.Specifically,this paper focuses on Chapters 3-5.Firstly,from the image symbols,the representative landscape symbols and sound symbols of Chongqing in the film are extracted for interpretation,and the presentation of Chongqing elements in the image of Chongqing is analyzed.Then from two aspects of space narrative and character construction analysis of the image of Chongqing on the image of Chongqing,this paper expounds the specific connotation characteristics of the image of Chongqing in the film since the new century;Finally,combined with the urban culture reflected in the film,the city attitude,temperament and character of Chongqing are summarized,the city spirit is further revealed,the image of Chongqing in the film is sublimated,and the image construction of the city image is more diversified in content and form,and more typical.Finally,the author believes that the image-based construction of urban image is not only a simple representation of urban material space and urban image representation,but also a kind of imagination and construction,which is the product of spatial image reproduction by the creators after careful selection and according to certain representational purposes.Therefore,based on the perspective of film creation subject,this paper puts forward relevant strategies,which can serve as a reference for the image construction of Chongqing or other cities in the future.
