The novel coronavirus pneumonia is the first public health crisis facing the world in the age of social media.It is still rampant around the world.In novel coronavirus pneumonia,the characteristics and impact of social media opinion leaders have become a topic worthy of discussion.The novel coronavirus pneumonia(Twitter)was selected as the research object,and the social network analysis and case analysis were used to discuss the disease.First of all,the research used "cowid-19" as the keyword on twitter,and took the early development of the world epidemic from March to May 2020 as the time period,and obtained 10,334 effective tweets.On this basis,100 opinion activists were selected based on the sum of forwarding,comment and like data.Then,through point centrality,middle centrality,proximity centrality,distance analysis,faction analysis,density analysis and core edge analysis,we finally selected 20 representative opinion leaders with research value,such as Obama,and analyzed their hundreds of tweets.After analyzing the practical background,social media usage habits and personal characteristics of 20 opinion leaders,the study found that social media opinion leaders have the following characteristics in the public health crisis,such as "professional expertise" to "everyone can do","expression of views" to "expression of emotions" These characteristics make the influence scope of social media opinion leaders in the public health crisis gradually expand,and the audience influenced by opinion leaders become more and more stratified and differentiated,which also makes the international communication environment increasingly complex.Finally,the study tries to deal with the similar public health crisis,and puts forward some suggestions,such as real-time monitoring of international public opinion,and accurate communication for international audiences in different circles.
