Since 2018,the us has increasingly suppressed Chinese enterprises, and the "arrest of Meng Wanzhou" incident has further intensified the overseas crisis of huawei. The series of incidents of huawei are very representative cases against the background of china-us economic and trade friction. In this context, how will the US mainstream media focus and build huawei? Is there a media bias or stigma? What are the implications? This is the main problem to be explored in this paper. The thesis choose the New York times as the representative of the US mainstream media, huawei as the representative of Chinese enterprises.By using content analysis, text analysis and the analysis method of News Frame Zang Guoren proposed, the thesis learns the news reports on huawei in the New York times from2017 to 2019.On the high-level frame, the number, subject and frame of news report are analyzed. The middle-level framework mainly analyzes the main events, direct results and other 7 projects. The low-level framework analyzes the types of headlines and quotes. In addition, selection and restructuring mechanisms will look at sources, genres, length and tone.Through quantitative statistics and qualitative analysis, this study found that in the past three years, the news reports on huawei presented three representative stigma frameworks: "technology ambition from China","national political puppet",and "others' rights destroyer".At the same time, its bias can be embodied in three aspects:first,it reflects the bias of news framework by weakening positive issues and exaggerating negative issues;Secondly,it is more inclined to use elite words to deliver positions, resulting in the bias of the source. Finally, indirect quotes are often used to expand the subjectivity of the text, and news features with strong personal colors are mainly used, which lack in-depth reporting, forming the bias of the media image.
