Due to its unique structure and excellent electromagnetic characteristics,Substrate Integrated Waveguide(SIW)structure has received much attention.attracted extensive attention from many scholars.Combining SIW technology with CSRR technology and designing three microwave sensors with different functions and good performance were the main research tasks of this paper. The relevant research contents can be divided into the following three parts:The first part is mainly to propose a high-Q active SIW-Based sensor for full characterization of Magnetic-Dielectric materials.By virtue of a modified CSRR,the electric field and magnetic field are bound in different areas of the designed topologies,so that the complex dielectric constant and complex permeability of magnetic-dielectric(MD)materials can be measured simultaneously,by utilizing the negative resistance circuit, the quality factor was improved from 183 to an ultrahigh value of 13399,so as to enhance the resolution of the resonator, and reduce the measurement error of resonator. In the second part,a SIW-Based microfluidics sensor is first proposed, and the physical test and result analysis are carried out.In order to improve the measuring liquid sensitivity of the microfluidics sensor,we proposed a microfluidics sensor based on microstrip-line coupling CSRR.Just 0.52?L of the liquid to be tested was required, the based on microstrip-line microfluidics sensor possessed an average sensitivity of 0.98%.A new multi-functional EMSIW sensor is mainly proposed in the third part of this paper, which simultaneously characterizes the environmental temperature, humidity and material dielectric constant. The temperature-sensitive properties of thermistors welded to the CSRR ring and the humidity sensitive properties of the Kapton 100 HN polyimide film was utilized to achieve the purpose of temperature and humidity measurement of the environment, respectively. In addition, three kinds dielectric materials with different dielectric constants(FR4 and TP composite material)were measured and analyzed, the ablility characterizing the permittivity of the material was also verified in the multi-functional EMSIW sensor. In brief, some explorations based on SIW and CSRR are mainly presented in this thesis. The measurement of complex dielectric constant and complex magnetic permeability of materials,as well as environmental temperature and humidity are studied, and some beneficial conclusions are gained.
