Research On Voice Interaction Design From The Perspective Of Elderly-Oriented

China's aging phenomenon continues to aggravate,and has become the country with the largest elderly population in the world.The country,the government and researchers in various fields are paying more and more attention to the aging problem.The following advantages of voice interaction can help the elderly to better use intelligent devices in the age of intelligent elderly care:First,it can liberate hands and eyes;Second,it can be interacted across space;Third,the interaction is intuitive;Fourth,the input efficiency is fast.This study takes aging design as the background,takes voice interaction as the way of product realization,takes voice memo application for the elderly as the design carrier,and studies the voice interaction design from the perspective of aging.First of all,the elderly were asked to experience the existing recording application,and it was found that problems such as short voice termination timeout,difficulty of wake-up words,inability to interrupt system dialogue and other problems would reduce the user experience of the elderly when recording in the voice interaction mode.Then,based on the Fogg behavior model,users were understood from four dimensions of behavior,motivation,ability and trigger.Interviews,questionnaires and the Wizard of Oz test(WOZ)were conducted on users,and relevant design strategies were summarized according to the research results.Two sub-strategies were selected for verification,one was the study of "speech interrupting strategy",and the other was the study of "the phonetic image personality preferred by the elderly".Finally,in the design presentation,the proposed design strategy and research results are applied to the design of the elderly memo application,and the combination of theory and design is helpful for more researchers to pay attention to the actual needs of the elderly and better carry out the aging adaptation of intelligent products.
