Explore The Way In Media Convergence Age How To Develop In-depth Reporting Under COVID-19

In-depth reporting emerged in the 1990 s,which was regarded as a breakthrough in the form of news coverage.A large number of excellent works emerged in the late 1980 s,in-depth reporting entered into the golden age,and 1987 was known as the "Year of In-depth Reporting".With the development of Internet technology,the living space of in-depth reporting is gradually squeezed.The development of new media technology further impact on the traditional in-depth reporting.The emergence of new media has brought the speed and scale of information collection and dissemination to an unprecedented level,which also gradually changing audiences' reading styles and reading habits.So the new media platform has gradually become the "first window" for people to obtain information,and the traditional media talents have also begun to turn into the new media field.In this case,traditional media chosen to cut down the proportion of in-depth reporting,or close down in-depth reporting department.There are no need in-depth reporting in the new media age? No! From the view of user demand,media competition,media order and social development,the strong demand for in-depth reporting still exists.Especially in reporting Corona Virus Disease 2019(COVID-19),which make us see the important of in-depth reporting.The reporter deep into the front line to recorded thrilling scene,and make reader know something behind it.,that play a role in strong confidence,warm heart,and gathering the hearts of the people.This paper takes the in-depth reports of Sanlian Life Weekly and Caixin Weekly as the research objects,compares and analyzes the in-depth reporting articles of the two media from Wuhan Lockdown.The study found that two media through multichannel achieve media converged communication,like newspaper,network,Weibo,We Chat and client,which regarded as a in-depth reporting model in age of media convergence.Two media also have their own feature in content creation,Sanlian Life Weekly tends to reflect the social problems through reporting “small people”,it also tend to report from a personalized perspective;While Caixin Weekly relies on its high professional standards to create content differences,like social,financial,real estate and other professional in-depth reporting.Based on above reasons,this paper takes the in-depth report itself as the research object,through literature research,case study and content analysis to analyzes the crisis,turnaround and development path which in-depth reporting faced.The main body of this paper is divided into five parts,including introduction,crisis,turnaround,vitality and development.The introduction part is mainly the background and significance of the topic selection,research methods,key and difficult points and literature research.The second chapter is crisis,which from three aspects of in-depth report itself,media ecological change and profit dilemma,to discusses the current crisis and development status of in-depth reporting.The third chapter is turnaround,which analyzes the content of in-depth reporting of Sanlian Life Weekly and Caixin Weekly,in order to analyze and summarize the excellent in-depth reporting under the COVID-19,and explore the way out for in-depth report.The fourth part mainly analysis the development of in-depth reporting,to explores how to develop mainstream media,new media and we media to promote in-depth reporting.In the last chapter,it is named development,which mainly puts forward constructive suggestions for the future development of in-depth reporting on the basis of the above research.This paper is based on the current situation of in-depth reporting in China,which not only for the purpose of identifying the future development of the new report,but also for reassessing the value and significance of the current in-depth reporting.
