A Study On The Transformation Of "Sanlian Life Weekly" In Recent 20 Years

With the impact of the internet media development, the traditional paper media,accompanied with hundreds of years of human daily life, having experienced an unprecedented crisis of survival in most countries and regions of the world, many print media sales decline or even extinct. As a representative of Chinese lifestyle paper media, "SanLian Life Weekly ",which was founded in 1995,have become China’s first lifestyle magazine today. Its distinctive features and brand effect make itself a pivotal position in both the media and society in China.Even under the new media environment of the most prominent paper media development crisis,its pivotal position has not been changed today,and its sales remained at more than 80 million copies a month, becoming the industry leader. Therefore, this thesis,take the "Sanlian Life Weekly" as the study, mainly analyzes its contents constitutes and the changes in style since its founding, in order to provide an important reference to the restructure the current development of the print media.This thesis is divided into six parts to study. The first part is an introduction, it mainly introduces the origin and background as well as the research value of the topic of research, the status quo and research methods related to the topic are also introduced, it is the basic bedding of this thesis.The second part introduces the overview of the development of "Life "weekly, the predecessor "SanLian Life Weekly ",during the period of the republic of China,as well as its impact to the birth of "SanLian Life Weekly "and the course of development of "SanLian Life Weekly " in the new era,it aims at providing basic background information for the study of changes in its content.The third part is divided into two sections, the first section reviews the changes and characteristics of contents of the column since the foundation of "SanLian Life Weekly".The second section is based on the cover story,the representative column of " SanLian Life Weekly,it added up the characteristics of the changes in the contents of the cover story in the past 20years., the two sections are all designed to study the changes of column content of "SanLian Life Weekly ".The fourth part has three sections, it focuses on the analysis of content writing and thinking style features of "Sanlian Life Weekly "in three different stages. The fifth part generated the specific reasons of changes in content structure, which are the knock-on effect of new media environment, the impact of political and economic environment as well as the changes in interest of readers.The sixth part deeply analyze the change rules of structural contents of SanLian Life Weekly",it describes the revelation these evolution insert to the development of the print media and the profound impact to the social development and people’s views on life.
