This paper focuses on the Information Concealment in We Media.and explores the causes,essence and characteristics,and influence effects in three dimensions,so as to form a comprehensive knowledge ofthe Information Concealment in We Media.Through the research,we have gained some importantrevelations to promote the healthy development of We Media.Concealment,which is called "Verbergung"in German and "??"in Chinese,is one of the most important terms used by Martin Heidegger,a great thinker of 20th century,in his philosophical works.For Heidegger,the word concealment means a condition which describe a human's authentic existence(eigentlich)is concealed by inauthentic state,and as a result,falling.In this respect,the opposite concept of concealment is"discoveredness"(Offenheit)or "unconcealment(Unverborgenheit)",pointing out a process that makes the truth discover itself as it is.After Heidegger,the term"Concealment"widely appears in various fields of humanities and social sciences,for it have a extremely strong explanatory power.Scientist of humanities and social sciences use it to describe a phenomenon that the truth is not appearing as it is,but becomes a interpreted thing,or a constructed phenomenon,due to the intervention of subject(human)and his consciousness factor(perceptual emotion or rational value).This kind of intervention could be a result of some kinds of history reason of human,especially in the aspect of emotion or value.In media Science,concealment refers to those information(or truth)created by user who did it depends on their own emotion or value,during the operation of We media.This kind of information is called a concealed information or "concealmental information".And this phenomenon,which refers to the information disseminating driven by users'creation,is called "phenomenon of information concealment".We Media is a new emerged medium that takes individuals as the origin of information transmission and uses modern electronic means to deliver standardized or non-standardized information to specific or non-specific stakeholders or relational networks.It has the characteristics of popularization,individualization,participation,spontaneity and cyclization.In We Media era,information concealment is a common media phenomenon,since the general public has relatively full autonomy and initiative to speak in We Media platform so that the professionalism of We Media has been greatly weakened.The public is not the receptor of the media but the controller of the media discourses.As users of we-media,the public controls the processing,interpretation and transmission of the information,therefore information released from We Media is reinterpreted by the users with their own emotions and values and becomes the interpreted "facts".Although there is a certain deviation between this fact and the objective reality,it is recognized in the user's understanding and belief as a "supposed"fact.This kind of interpreted information is called the concealed information.In other words,facts are deliberately interpreted;emotions and values create specific representations of facts,and information concealment popular in We Media platform is thus formed.It can be seen that information concealment of We Media is constructively generated due to users' emotional and value-oriented explanation of the events.The information concealment in We Media age is actually caused by the users' emotional interpretation,therefore being loaded with some specific value requirement.This information concealment is also a fact that exists in the information competition,a fact that has the "backfire effect" and a fact that is firmly believed and vigorously defended by the people with the same value perspectives.Information concealment in We Media is a universal phenomenon,which has a profound impact on our present life.People are required to analyze its effecis dialectically and synthetically,and to see both the positive and the negative aspects of its influence.On the emotional level,the information loaded with positive emotions could appeals to their beautiful society.As for the media,we should firstly draw the beneficial experience from the media development to get the leeway for the public opinion domination.Secondly with the growing influence of We Media,we must change the transmission strategy,reverse aphasia dilemma and seriously meet the challenge.Thirdly,we should attach great importance the media ethics,which should be a crucial issue that needed to be put into our overall media strategy and make a good solution.In a word,with the development of new media technology,the media life created by "We Media" will become normal,and the phenomenon of information concealm ent caused by "We Media" will become more prominent and have a more far-reaching impact.Therefore,the research on information concealment by "We Media" will certainly become an important topic of future research in media studies.
