As the integrated circuit industry develops faster and faster,and the scale and complexity of chip integration are getting higher and higher,it is becoming more and more important to complete chip verification in the early stages of chip research and development to ensure that the chip functions properly and that it is successfully put into market applications.The software and hardware simulation system in this paper mainly uses the high-speed data acquisition equipment of the laboratory scientific research project as the background of the design to be tested for module and system-level design and simulation.The system realizes the combination of hardware and software simulation,and makes up for the shortcomings of traditional software simulation such as low-speed distortion and uncertainty of hardware simulation.This article first conducts a preliminary survey on the current state of domestic and foreign research on simulation verification and data collection,and then completes the selection of the corresponding technology and devices,the overall framework of the design to be tested,and overall structure design of the hardware and software simulation system by comparing the maturity of key technologies.Secondly,this article uses Verilog hardware programming language to complete the hardware code design and optimization of the acquisition equipment from top to bottom,and implements the hardware and software simulation system designed for the acquisition equipment.The system builds a hierarchical software simulation environment by using SystemVerilog verification language,the internally integrated excellent mechanism and a large number of randomized componentsof UVM verification methodology on the PC side.After the software simulation is completed,the design to be tested is mapped to FPGA programmable logic device,to establish the real physical environment,and then carry out the overall physical simulation test of the acquisition equipment.Finally,this article collected the simulation results,code and functional coverage,and by analyzing the simulation results,coverage,and the degree of system reuse,determined whether the data collection equipment function is correct and complete,and proposed optimization schemes.
