Bibliometrics Analysis Of Badminton Sports Research Of Chinese Sports Core Journal In 2009 To 2018

In recent years,with the rapid development of society,economy,science and technology,information has shown an explosive growth trend,and scientific research literature is no exception.In order to cope with the explosive growth of information and the rapid increase of scientific research papers,society needs to use more scientific methods to process information and statistical literature,so as to quickly obtain effective information and improve the efficiency of scientific research.Bibliometrics is a subject that introduces mathematical and statistical methods to quantify scientific research papers.It can present the information that readers and researchers needed more scientifically,effectively and clearly.Moreover,the development of badminton sports research also needs the supports of bibliometrics.Therefore,in order to understand the current situation of badminton sports research,this paper takes the literatures related to badminton sports research in the core journals designated by G8(sports)in the Overview of Chinese Core Journals from2009 to 2018 as the research object to discover the research rules in this filed and give conclusions and suggestions.By using the methods of literature review,mathematical statistics,logical analysis and bibliometrics,the distribution of authors and citation of the relevant literature are analysed respectively to provide theoretical references for the future development of the filed.The conclusions of this paper are as follows:1.Relevant research findings are less,showing a wave-like trend and every four years is a cycle.The distribution of research findings in different journals and regions is obviously unbalanced,and Guangdong,Beijing,and Shanghai are the main places of research findings distributed in this field.2.The papers fund distribution is mainly at the national and provincial levels.Meanwhile,China Sports Science and Technology,Journal of Beijing Sports University,Research in Astronomy and Astrophysics,and Journal of Wuhan Institute of Physical Education have attained more funded paper relatively.In terms of publication delay,the overall situation is that the literature information dissemination is relatively fast,and timeliness is better.However,some journals take longer time to publish and publication rate is slow,due to the factors such as the process ofreviewing manuscripts and the collecting and editing of topics.3.The research topic is too centralized,and the involved content is not broad enough.It is mainly manifested in the largest study scale of sports application discipline and the research of basic discipline and other related aspects is less.Meanwhile,the application of research methods is too unitary.4.In this field,the distribution of males and females is not balanced in the gender structure of authors;the distribution of authors' age is reasonable,and the overall distribution is rare.The distribution of professional title and academic qualifications and the number of scientific research achievements are out of proportion,and the distribution of authors organization is centralized,and the distribution of author's geography is wide.However,there is a significant unbalance in the distribution of authors among different regions.In addition,the scale of research cooperation in this field is small,and the number of co-authors is mainly concentrated in a small range between 2 and 3 people.5.The number of citations is low,and there are obvious unstable phenomena in the use of literature information;the types and languages of citations are relatively unitary;the greatest year of citation is relatively lagging behind.Based on the conclusions above,the following suggestions have been provided:1.From future research topics perspective,it is suggested that Chinese researchers should continue to keep the research on applied disciplines of sports,continue to broaden the theoretical field of vision,actively explore and study the fewer and undeveloped areas.Meanwhile,we need to pay attention to the quantity and quality of citations,and the diversity of citation languages.Additionally,we need more attention to and absorption of foreign cutting-edge information in this field to improve the frequency of idea exchange between countries in this field.2.From a research methodology perspective,it is suggested that Chinese researchers should focus on draw lessons from and fuse with other disciplines to broaden and create the research methods in the field of badminton sports,and to encourage authors to exchange and cooperate and to learn from each other.3.It is suggested to strengthen the construction of the scientific research team of badminton sports.Social sports workers and active or retired national athletes shouldbe encouraged to participate in the field of badminton scientific research;Researchers should be stimulated to complete research and project application,should be guided actively and given play to;The enthusiasm of students and teachers in scientific research should be stimulated to cultivate scientific research talents and improve the reserve of scientific.
