Manufacturing industry has always been one of the pillar industries in China.However,with the development of economy,the problems of high cost,insufficient manpower,increased manpower cost,high quality requirement and large capacity gap constantly bring new challenges to the factory.In recent years,with the development of technology,more and more new technologies such as robotics,automatic control and big data are used in manufacturing industry.The emergence of automatic production lines has played a certain role in alleviating the above problems.Replacing manpower with robots,solving the problems of insufficient labor force and rising human cost,and improving productivity and product quality are one of the directions of China's future manufacturing industry development.Software plays an important role in the operation of automation production line.Its quality directly affects the production efficiency of automation production line.However,because this kind of software is not a product that can directly generate profits,it has been ignored for a long time.At present,many factories lack necessary management in the process of developing corresponding software projects,which eventually leads to the low quality of software and affects the operation of automatic production lines.In terms of software project management,the commonly used software development management models include CMM(Capability Maturity Model),CMMI(Capability Maturity Model Integration),PSP(Personal Software Process),TSP(Team Software Process),etc.However,these management models transfer only a kind of ideological framework of management,not a specific work content that can be directly used.We must apply these frameworks to specific work according to the actual work to produce specific work content.In addition,the research results of traditional software development management are often aimed at independent software.In the development project of automation production line,software is often only a part.In addition to its own quality must be guaranteed,the interaction function with peripheral supporting equipment is more important.But at present,in a system,software is regarded as an important part,and the research results of software development management are still slightly scarce.This paper explores the management method of software project development for automation production line.Taking an automation production line software project of a large electronics production plant as an example,under the theoretical guidance of CMM(Capability Maturity Model),the software development of automation production line is reconstructed according to the key process areas in CMM level.In order to form a management framework suitable for the development of automated production line software and improve the quality of software development.
