Research On The Influence Of Wechat Usage On The Identity Construction Of The New Generation Of Female Migrant Workers

At present,it can be seen that social software has been widely used in the era of mobile Internet.With the characteristics of multiple functions,simple operation,acquaintance network and so on,WeChat has occupied the leading position in mobile social media,which is not only a traditional instant communication software,but also a platform for information dissemination,sharing and access.As a necessary social software for the new generation of female migrant workers,does it exist a certain relationship between the use of WeChat and their identity? Based on this kind of doubt,it carries out this study in this thesis.In terms of the new generation of female migrant workers,what they are facing in urban life is the dual challenges of social class identity and gender identity.In this thesis,it hopes to explore the influence of the use of WeChat on the construction of identity of the new generation of female migrant workers,which is carried out from two levels of class identity and gender identity by combining with their life reality.As for the full thesis,it is divided into three parts.In the first part,it is the introduction,which mainly introduces the research background and research significance while combing related literature and defining the core concepts.In the second part,it is the research design,which mainly describes the research problems,research ideas,research methods and research objects.In the third part,it is the second,third,fourth and fifth chapters,which is the main body of this thesis.In the second chapter,it mainly expounds the perception and change of the identity of the new generation of female migrant workers before and after entering cities,as well as the construction path towards urban women.In the third chapter,it describes the significance of the self presentation of the new generation of female migrant workers in the circle of friends in WeChat for seeking class identity.In the fourth chapter,it elaborates the influence of the use of WeChat on the construction of gender identity of the new generation of female migrant workers,which includes three aspects,such as shaping the body image of urban women,coordinating the conflict of multiple gender identity roles,and constructing modern female consciousness.In the fifth chapter,it discusses the practical significance of paying attention to the identity of the new generation of female migrant workers and the impact of the use of WeChat on the identity of the new generation of female migrant workers.Compared with other media,it is found that WeChat has special advantages.In the third part,it is the conclusion part,which summarizes the impact of the use of WeChat on the identity of the new generation of female migrant workers and the significance of paying attention to the identity of the new generation of female migrant workers from the perspective of media use.What's more,it reflects on the limitations of the research and makes prospects for the future research direction.
