The rapid development of information technology further promotes the in-depth application of higher Education Informatization in China.At present,the requirements of universities and the society for talent training are developing towards the direction of cultivating innovative and compound talents.Some opinions on further deepening undergraduate teaching reform and improving teaching quality in an all-round way issued by the Ministry of education clearly points out that : "We should adhere to the coordinated development of knowledge,ability and quality,continue to deepen the reform of personnel training mode,curriculum system,teaching content and teaching methods,and finally realize the transformation from paying attention to knowledge transfer to paying more attention to the cultivation of ability and quality.".However,the traditional "take teachers as a center" Education Teaching Model is still prevalent in higher education.This teaching mode overemphasizes students' academic achievements and professional skills,neglects the cultivation of students' innovative application ability,and the cultivation of innovative application ability has the disadvantages of single form and thin theme,especially in the practical courses with high requirements for teachers and experimental conditions.This is out of line with the goal of talent training and the needs of the society in China's colleges and universities.Project-based learning is an Education Teaching Model based on Constructivism Learning Theory and the Theory of Multiple Intelligences,emphasizing students' learning by doing.It focuses on developing students' problem-solving ability,group cooperation ability and innovation ability.Its core concept is highly consistent with the talent training objectives of institutions of universities and society.But at present,project-based teaching is mainly used in basic teaching and vocational education,and higher education is seldom used.The course of “Internet of things and sensor technology” is a required course for computer major in colleges and universities.However,the teaching effect of this course is not ideal because it involves many subjects,such as Electronic Technology Basis,C Language Programming and so on,and also has high requirements for the experimental environment.In order to improve the teaching situation of “Internet of things and sensor technology courses”,project-based learning is introduced into this course.Combining the characteristics of project-based learning and the teaching content of the course,we have constructed the simulation experiment teaching mode of “Internet of things and sensor technology”.At present,many experiments of the course are separated from the skeleton.Many existing simulation experiment platforms ignore the fact that the development of simulation experiment is applied to teaching,and there is no question and answer link.Combined with these characteristics,we have built a simulation experimental teaching platform for Internet of things and sensor technology,and used quasi experimental method to carry out the practical research of education and teaching.In the quasi experimental process,two small classes participated in the practical research,namely experimental class A and control class B.After one semester of teaching practice.We verify the learning effect by analyzing the learning achievement,learning attitude,collaborative learning ability and problem-solving ability of the two classes.From the analysis results,we can draw the conclusion that the project-based learning mode has no significant effect on the test results of the simulation experiment course of “Internet of things and sensor technology”,but the project-based learning mode can improve students' learning interest,collaborative learning ability and problem-solving ability to a certain extent.
