With the development and popularization of the Internet of Things(IoT),the application of IoT is more and more extensive,and the number of access devices is also increasing.The Internet of things has aroused a great interest both at home and abroad.Researchers often need to test and evaluate various performance indexes of the Internet of things through experiments.However,the experiment scale of the Internet of things is huge and the deployment is complex,so the real experiment deployment is difficult.Therefore,it is proposed to carry out physical network experiment through simulation.However,none of the proposed simulation experimental tools have the characteristics of large-scale scalability.Therefore,this paper aims to design a large-scale iot simulation experimental platform to solve the problem of inadequate scalability of iot simulation experiments.In combination with the current popular cloud computing technology,this paper firstly integrates VMNet on OpenStack cloud platform,and makes use of the virtualization technology of cloud platform to expand the Internet of things simulation experiment affected by the performance bottleneck of single host on a large scale.In addition,support for iot simulation experiments under different scenarios is designed to improve the scalability of iot simulation experiments.Secondly,an Internet of things simulation experiment platform supporting multi-user B/S architecture is designed and implemented,which can automatically allocate experimental software and hardware resources and automatically deploy experimental environment according to user requirements.In addition,the experimental operation process was optimized to simplify various operations of experimental users,and various functions such as experimental log analysis,preservation and recovery of experimental environment were provided.Finally,the performance of the platform simulation experiment is explored through experiments.It verifies the correctness of the simulation experiment of the platform,and proves that the platform can well solve the scalability of the simulation experiment of the Internet of things.
