Sociological Perspective

Since its birth,In-depth report has become one of the important contents of the competition of various news media.In the present era,the network provides great convenience,and the public participates in the news production,resulting in the uneven quality of news products.In addition,short,quick news and simple,plain news coverage are far from meeting people's needs.And what people want to see more are in-depth reports that detail the beginning and end of the event,dissect the origin of the incident,and focus on the issue.Therefore,high-quality in-depth news report has become a kind of scarce news product.So,this paper tries to summarize the long-standing practice of news production from a sociological perspective,aiming at improving news topics skills of the field of in-depth news report.At the theoretical level,this thesis raises the news experience of typical media and "scholarly journalists" to the height of methodology,and finds the application of "sociological perspective ".Besides,the author uses field investigation and literature research to enrich the case of media practice,and then analyzes the operation steps of "using sociological perspective to do news topics" from the perspective of sociology,which can be directly used to guide the thinking training of journalists in news work and the improvement of topic planning skills.The introduction of this paper focuses on the research background,research status and significance of this topic.This part summarizes the domestic industry and academia's research status of "in-depth reporting news topics ",analyzes the characteristics of different scholar' research on " in-depth reporting news topics ",and then concludes the blanks and deficiencies of using sociological perspective to do news topics of in-depth reporting,and finally puts forward the research plan and innovation of this paper.The first chapter talks about what is to use the sociology angle to do the news topic.The author links the sociological perspective with news production,news objective principles and news texts,systematically introduces the sociological imagination,scholarly journalists and in-depth reports,and lays a theoretical foundation for "using the sociological perspective to do news topics ".The second chapter tells the history of the media practice at home and abroad about "using the sociological perspective to do news topic of in-depth reports ",not only tells the evolution of the application of this news production practice method,but also uses the case analysis method to analyze the news practice of the typical media,so that we could has a clearer understanding of " using the sociological perspective to do the news topic ".The third chapter records the field investigation of the overseas edition of People's Daily on "using the sociological perspective to do news topics ".The author adopts the three methods of observation,unstructured interview and concrete case analysis respectively to obtain the first-hand information obtained in the news practice,which enriches the analytical materials of the paper.In the fourth chapter,by expounding the methods and techniques of cultivating the sociological imagination and the operation steps of "using the sociological perspective to do the news topic selection ",the author summarizes the method of " using the sociological perspective to do the news topic selection ",and provides a set of practical and meaningful topic selection process for the journalists.
