With the widespread application of social media,the value of unstructured data generated by social media platforms is increasingly valued by corporate practitioners and scholars,and new insights in various fields are developed through social media analysis technology.In the field of supply chain management,there is a lack of research on the topic of how to tap and use supply chain management intelligence in social media platforms.Therefore,this paper builds a social media analysis framework based on Sina Weibo,extracts supply chain management intelligence from the four aspects of Weibo communication mode,user characteristics,theme trends and emotional tendencies,and uses these intelligence to gain insight into the application of social media in supply chain management opportunities,and put forward application suggestions.In this study,a text mining-oriented intelligence analysis research method is used to build a social media analytics framework.Sina Weibo is used as the platform for data sources to collect Weibo text containing supply chain management keywords from 2014 to 2018;In the process of intelligence mining,descriptive analysis and content analysis are mainly used,and text mining and visualization related technologies are combined to analyze the collected text data set.In the process of intelligence extraction,this research extracts supply chain management intelligence from four aspects: dissemination methods,user characteristics,hot topics,and emotional tendencies.Through the information mining of supply chain management microblog,the research found that for professionals in supply chain management,social media such as Sina Weibo can provide application opportunities for the sharing and dissemination of supply chain management knowledge and identify emerging supply chain management topics;For companies in supply chain management,social media provides application opportunities for supply chain management talent recruitment,enhanced demand shaping capabilities,social media marketing,and social customer relationship management.Finally,in view of the lack of social media applications at this stage,this article puts forward suggestions to promote the application of social media in supply chain management,including establishing a sustainable supply chain management virtual community,improving the network negative word-of-mouth response mechanism,and optimizing social media corporate function,strengthen risk prevention of socialized cooperative relationship management.
