The Bluetooth headset industry is a new industry,the process maturity and quality management of Bluetooth headset manufacturers are worse than mobile phone manufacturers,and it is a common situation in the industry.Company A also has such problems,and how to quickly improve the quality of products has become an urgent problem for Company A.This article conducts a case study on the problem of poor quality return rate of the Bluetooth headsets of company A.First of all,using the contribution analysis method,the main models affecting the fail return rate are screened from the various models,and the screened key models are analyzed and improved,so that the limited resources can be maximize utilized.Secondly,for the screened key models,Pareto chart is used to analyze and sort out the bad quality return problems,and the three major problems of fail returns are determined: Bluetooth disconnecting,sound interrupted and noise.Thirdly,for the Bluetooth disconnecting and the sound interrupted problem,using fishbone diagram to do5M1E(Man,Machine,Material,Method,Measurement,Environment)analysis,then check the process,confirm that the process design is not good,and the internal wiring position is unreasonable,causing poor Bluetooth radio frequency(RF)performance of the headset,that is the root cause of Bluetooth disconnecting and sound interrupted.Fourthly,using the measurement system analysis(MSA)theory,and the repeatability and reproducibility(R&R)analysis of the production line Bluetooth RF measurement system shows that the system is unstable,resulting in inaccurate measurement results and causing misjudgment,which is the root cause of the leakage of the Bluetooth disconnecting and sound interrupted defective products.Fifthly,using the FMEA tool to analyze the noise issue,the root cause of noise and the reason for leakage of noise defective products are found.Finally,after the corrective actions are taken,the three main quality problems are fundamentally solved and the leakage of the defective products can be effectively prevented,and also the prevent actions of the kind of problem are taken by setting up the control processes and systems.In summary,after a series of quality improvement,the quality fail return rate of Bluetooth headset of Company A has meet the company's quality target.Although the research object of this article is the Bluetooth headset product of Company A,but it has certain reference significance for improving the measurement system in the Bluetooth headset industry,reducing the risk of defective leakage and improving product quality.
