Research On Public Cognition And Influencing Factors Of The Platisher

With the strong rise of digital technology,more and more media platforms are available for the public to choose from.The "Platisher" not only brings convenience to the news industry but also brings challenges to the news industry.This research is based on an online questionnaire survey conducted by 541 civilians and supplemented by in-depth interviews.This research is dedicated to investigating the Chinese public's perception of the Platisher,and analyzing whether the public's cognition and demographic factors regarding journalists and journalists' functions and media usage have an impact on public perception.To understand the public's views on the social status and performance of platform-based media and the main trends in the development of journalism,and provide reference opinions for the future development of China's journalism.research on the Chinese public's awareness of the "Platisher" and journalists(main news information producers),and to analyse whether the demographic factors and media usage of the public have an impact on their perception.To understand the social status and performance of Chinese journalists and Platisher in the digital network era in the eyes of the public at this stage,as well as the main trends of the development of the journalism industry,this research provides reference opinions accordingly.This study confirms some conclusions of the existing research,such as: in the digital age,most of the public believe that journalists can quickly deliver news information to the public and report topics of public concern;the overall development direction of the Platisher is to meet the needs of mass journalism.The direction of development is generally more in line with the public's reading habits.However,the study also found that the reporter's sense of social responsibility is not strong.Some members of the public believe that the Platisher ignores the accuracy of news in pursuit of timeliness,reduces the quality of news information,and makes journalism more accountable.The public constantly questioned that news reports in the platform media might be controlled by powerful people or organizations,and also worried that their privacy would be leaked by the Platisher.The public's cognition of journalists and journalists' functions,as well as their media usage behavior and demographic factors will affect the public's cognition of the Platisher.And how these perceptions will change in the future,and what trends the development of journalism will present,are also issues that journalists must consider.It is hoped that the findings of this study will bring some new thoughts to Chinese journalists.For journalists,they hope to effectively play their own functions,take the initiative to assume social responsibilities,help the public better understand national policies,and enlighten people's wisdom;in the event,it can truly impart information to the society.At the same time,the Platisher should also strengthen the control and verification of information,try to reject false news,pay attention to the distribution of positive and negative news,protect user privacy,and strive to provide the public with a reliable platform to deliver true and accurate information.
