Analyze Image Of Journalist

Simply speaking, the word "Image of Journalist" can be understood as the whole picture of the maintenance of Journalist forming in our mind by seeing, hearing, feeling and tasting etc. That is to say, the image of journalist does not mean the journalist itself but people's perception of journalist. And it varied in everyone's mind due to the subjective initiative of people's consciousness. Lots of films, teleplays and novels inland depicted various images of journalist. These images are the reappearances of the impressions of those producers. The language vector of these literary and artistic works is text. So this article designated them as the image of journalist in text files. Also, the public have their own pictures of journalist through various means, and these pictures in this article are described as the image of journalist in real life.Actually, the channels for the public to know the journalist mainly are: reading the news journalist reported, reading novels or to watch movies and teleplays, and also contacting of journalist in the real life etc. Therefore, literary and artistic works like teleplays and novels are important channels for public to get the image of journalist. Then the similarities and differences between those two images that said above are still unknown to us. From this point, the author of this article tries to study the correlativity of the journalist image in literary and artistic works and that in public minds. After concluding the image of journalist in the text and summing up the image in the real life based on the analysis of the statistic questionnaire for "The public image of the journalist", this article compared and analyzed the two types of journalist image. On the relative study of these two types of journalist image, this article will contribute to help public to have a correct understanding of the images from literary and artistic works, to help the originators to better shaping the image of journalist, and to help the journalists to improve their own images with practical actions after self-examination.
