With the continuous update of radar technology,the traditional radar system test methods have been unable to meet the testing requirements of the new system radar.Under this background,the radar echo simulator comes into being.Generally,the general radar signal simulator is composed of vector signal source and radar echo simulation software.As a result of making full use of the computing power of the computer,radar signal simulator has rich functions,practical and efficient characteristics.Therefore,it is of practical significance to develop a radar echo simulator software with better universality,stronger expansibility and higher practicability.Based on the demand analysis of radar echo simulation software,the overall design process of radar echo simulation software that can simultaneously simulate the transmitted signal and echo signal is proposed in this thesis.In addition,the radar echo simulation software is divided into core function module,interface interaction module and data interface module.The core function module based on echo simulation correlation algorithm generates the required radar transmitting signal and echo signal in the background.The man-machine interaction and the overall control of the software should be implemented by he interface interaction module.The data interface module is responsible for the communication between the software and the outside world.Secondly,in this thesis,each module is implemented on the Visual Studio 2013 and Qt 5.7 platform in datail.For transmitting signals,the core function module realizes eight types of radar transmitting signals such as continuous wave radar and pulse compression radar.According to the process,it includes steps such as generating pulse envelopes,pulse re-frequency,and intra-pulse modulation.For radar environment echo signal,clutter signal,jam signal and noise signal can be simulated.Among them,the clutter type supports sea clutter,ground clutter,and meteorological clutter,and the jam type supports suppression jam,deception jam,and chaff jam.The data interface module forms a radar simulation system with the vector signal source through the LAN / GPIB interface,and completes the data storage and transmission through the data file interface.Finally,set up software test scenarios and design test cases targeted to complete the test of each module of the software to ensure the correctness and reliability of the software.Compared with the similar radar echo simulation software,the software developed in this thesis not only has the characteristics of multiple types of radar signals,but also realizes the simulation function of a variety of complex radar environments and target echo signals,which is more comprehensive.In particular,it makes full use of the modular design idea,makes the software more convenient to upgrade,and can be combined with the existing signal generator instrument to form a universal radar signal simulator,which is widely used in the development and testing of radar system.
