As one of the important carriers of ideological and political education,mass media is responsible for spreading positive social energy and actively carrying forward the core socialist values and the fine traditional culture of the Chinese nation in the new media era.As a carrier of covert education,reality shows exert a variety of influences on the educational objects through a variety of program Settings and can guide the development of their world outlook,outlook on life and values.In recent years,various kinds of reality shows have emerged in an endless stream,and the audience's attention to reality shows has been continuously soaring,especially the outdoor reality shows with stars and idols participating.Shanghai dragon TV launched a large-scale inspirational experience outdoor reality show "extreme challenge",has been broadcast until now into the fifth season.The audience's discussion on each season of the program is also extremely intense,and the performance of the guests in the program,especially the behavior and language of the six permanent guests reflected by the values of the audience's attention.In this study,by analyzing the value-oriented issues of the reality show extreme challenge season 4,the author analyzes how the extreme challenge program group realizes the transmission of correct values.The expectation can help the value orientation problem that reality show faces.It is hoped that reality shows can carry more abundant content and enrich humanistic value,so that reality shows can play their due social value and play a value-oriented role.Text analysis is used in this study.Taking the video materials of the 12 th episode of the fourth season of extreme challenge as the object of analysis,this paper analyzes the value orientation presented in the program,whether it is consistent with the value orientation advocated by the program group,and how the program group conducts value guidance.It is found that the value orientation presented in the program is diverse and subjective,with positive value orientation and negative value orientation.The value orientation that the program aims to spread is positive energy,and its core value orientation is that struggle is the bridge to a better life.The core value orientation of the program reflects the struggle concept advocated by Xi Jinping;Reality shows can become effective carriers of ideological and political education through careful construction.However,there are also some deficiencies in presenting value orientation and conducting value guidance.Through the research,we can also get some inspirations: reality shows can only play the guiding role of ideological and political education when they are properly used;Only excavate the cultural depth content can make the program rich in connotation and educational significance;The sophisticated production of reality shows in the later stage is the key link to give play to the role of ideological and political education carrier,which needs to pay attention to the display of details.For the ideological and political education work,the research results provide some new ideas for the ideological and political education workers.In the process of ideological and political education activities,can with the help of a reality TV show the ideological and political education carrier for more vivid image of the object of education values education,and also can show reference is through what way to the spread of the value orientation,make the education of ideological and political education work to get rid of the stark image,make the education work.
