Conflict And Coordination: A Discourse Analysis Of The Multi-subject Weibo Of The "Xiangshui Explosion Incident"

In recent years,sudden disasters in China have occurred frequently,such as the"Tianjin Binhan Explosion","Sichuan Wenchuan Earthquake",and "Xiangshui Explosion in Jiangsu".Sociologist Ulrich Beck pointed out that modern society is a risk society.Sudden disasters have frequently attracted the attention of the entire society on the new media platform in the Internet era.The wide scope and rapid speed of the spread of emergency events have been unprecedentedly expanded due to the new Internet media platform,whether natural or human disaster will instantly arouse the attention and discussion of the whole society.With the emergence of sudden disasters,various problems have gradually appeared in society.How does the government respond to problems and disclose information in a timely manner.Faced with the information fragmentation and confusion in the Internet platform after the outbreak of disasters,how the media integrates information,reports on disasters,and how to cooperate with netizens to maintain the discourse order of the Internet platform,these problems are due to the development of information technology more and more severe.In this article,after the "March 21st Xiangshui Explosion",the Weibo discourses of different subjects such as the government,the media,and Internet users on the Weibo platform are taken as the research objects.Taking Van Dijk's news discourse analysis framework as the basic framework,supplementing Norman Fairclough's"intertextuality" discourse theory becomes the comprehensive research framework of this article.Analyze the discourse presentation characteristics of different subjects from the perspective of the macrostructure of the discourse text,the microstructure of the text,and the context.Explore the coordination and conflict of the interaction of different discourse subjects,and comprehensively analyze the reasons for the discourse presentation of the "Xiangshui explosion" from the discourse subject's political position,values and social background.Based on this,a reflection is proposed:when responding to future disasters,different discourse subjects appropriately change the discourse presentation mode,reconstruct the discourse space of the new media platform,promote the good interaction between the subject of government discourse and the subject of folk discourse,reduce conflicts and promote harmony.
