After being introduced into China as a new thing,the style of Feature experienced four stages of subversion,i.e.exploration period,peak period,silence period and reconstruction period,and was reborn as "Chinese Feature" after localization.Using ecology as a research tool,this paper makes a diachronic analysis of the development process of Chinese Feature,analyzes the existing status of Chinese Feature from the perspective of internal and external ecology,and analyzes its future transformation in the context of intelligent media ecology.The innovation of this paper lies in: taking ecology as a theoretical scale,interpreting Chinese Feature from multi-dimensional and macro perspectives,and trying to construct a new research paradigm.In addition to the innovation of the research framework,the author uses the convenience of practice to add rich case materials to the research content,and makes the paper content fuller through in-depth interviews and case studies.In addition to the introduction,there are four chapters in this paper.The first chapter is the historical evolution of Chinese Feature from the perspective of ecology.Since its introduction from the West in 1995,Chinese Feature has gone through four stages of development: the exploration period from 1995 to 2003,the peak period from2003 to 2008,the silence period from 2008 to 2015,and the reconstruction period from2015 to 2020.The author makes a detailed discussion on the corresponding changes of ecological environment in the corresponding period and the changes of specific forms of Chinese Feature under the ecological changes.The second section traces the history of the development of American Feature,and analyzes the differences between Chinese and American Feature in reporting color,micro text and issues under different ecological environments.The second chapter is about the external ecological status of Chinese Feature.Firstof all,the author analyzes the whole ecological characteristics of Chinese Feature,such as integrity,diversity,self-organization,openness,dynamics,parasitism and predation.The last three sections respectively analyze the status quo of the political and economic ecology,technological ecology and user ecology outside the Chinese feature,as well as their enlightenment to the development of Chinese feature.The third chapter is about the internal ecological status of Chinese Feature.First of all,the author uses the theory of media niche to analyze the specific data and cases of the spatiotemporal niche,functional niche and nutritional niche of Chinese Feature;secondly,in the micro content ecology,the author analyzes the narration,issues and styles of ten special contributions;in the last section,the author analyzes the macro industry students of Chinese Feature from the three aspects of creators,media and platforms Status quo.The fourth chapter is about the future transformation of Chinese Feature from the perspective of ecology,mainly from the micro and macro directions.At the micro level,the narrative of Chinese Feature will probably turn to media interaction,special reporters will turn to all media reporters,and special platform will turn to industrialization and brand operation.On the macro level,technological changes may turn the feature to sensualization and privacy;on the capital market,the channels for realizing the feature in China will be further widened,toward the direction of payment and IP;and in the overall ecosystem,the feature in China will enrich the diversity of species and topics,between the media and users,between the media and the media,between the media and the platform Realize collaborative evolution.
