With the development of economy and society,the application of radar has been gradually expanded from the military field to the civilian field.Especially the millimeter-wave radar,with the advantage of small size,light weight,high detection accuracy,all-weather operation,low manufacturing cost and easy installation and maintenance,is widely used in the civilian field.However,the traditional millimeterwave radar two-dimensional detection algorithm has two main defects.The first defect is that this algorithm will miss detection due to the target masking effect.The second one is that it's more suitable for the stationary radar doing moving target detection(MTD).When the radar is moving,this algorithm is prone to false alarm if the speed of radar is unknown.Aiming at addressing the algorithm defects mentioned above,the following research is carried out in this paper:(1)The structure of the millimeter-wave radar system is introduced.The LFM signal model is analyzed and the fuzzy function of LFM signal is given.The motion parameter estimation of the sawtooth LFM signal and the principle of the twodimensional target detection algorithm are introduced.Finally,the simulations are deployed.(2)Aiming at the masking effect of radar two-dimensional detection algorithm,in this paper,the block sorting constant false alarm detector is used to shorten the time of masking effect of target,and the algorithm is analyzed by simulation.Finally,the effectiveness of the algorithm is verified by the processing of measured data.(3)In view of the traditional two-dimensional detection algorithm,when the moving speed of the platform is unknown,a large number of false alarms tend to appear in the target detection on the moving platform.The clutter velocity measurement algorithm is introduced to filter the stationary target,detect the real moving target,and complete the engineering implementation of the clutter velocity measurement algorithm.Finally,the effectiveness of the clutter velocity measurement algorithm is verified by experiments in real scenarios.
