The rapid development of radar technology, high resolution radar technology have come into wide use.Clutter range distribution faces a highly complicated clutter environment when we make use of it to detect the target under sea clutter, so the limitation has arisen from which constant false alarm rate(CFAR) detector detect the target under sea clutter.To solve the limitation,By analyzing causes of the limitation and the direction of constant false alarm rate detector both at home and abroad,after studying special feature of clutter range distribution model and the basic principles of constant false alarm rate detector,the paper introduces you to the CFAR target detection method for multiple clutter model.The method based on the model recognition,it can not detect the target under the sea sultter, but also depresses clutter numbers.The key to the method is the model recognition,so the paper introduces you to a few model recognition methods,by analyzing their merits and demerits and special feature of clutter model,introduces you to a new method which can recognize radar clutter model,the monte carlo experiment based on the simulation of sea clutter shows the method is true,it shows the method has a higher recognition rate and stability,it also offers the length of tail which has higher recognition.The method solve the problem of lower recognition rate and touch on complicated principles of mathematics,it is easier to implement.The paper study clutter range distribution model after introducing you to the basic principles of constant false alarm rate at first,and point out the model the paper pay close attention to.Later,By analyzing the basic principles of constant false alarm rate detector and the principles of choosing the detector,choosing appropriate detector for each model.Secondly,the paper introduces you to the CFAR target detection method for multiple clutter model and model recognition method and theirs course of verification. At last,Implementation of constant false alarm rate target detection method under the radar sea clutter is the radar image target detection software.The software is designed according to the knowledge of software engineer and implemented by hybrid programming.The result of the application of the software shows it can detect the target on the radar image accurately.This paper introduces you to a new display method of rader image in terminal,coordinate inquiry is used in it.Hybrid programming with VC and Matlab based on Matcom is fitted in software and easy to use,the image quality and velocity of display is high so that it is very valuable.
