In recent years,with the continuous development of the automotive industry and the emergence of in-vehicle electronic products,people's daily travel has been closely related to the car.China has become a major automobile manufacturing and consumption country.While the car gives people greatly improved travel efficiency,driving safety issues must also attract people's attention.In order to improve driving comfort and driving safety,millimeter wave radar has been gradually applied to the field of automotive driverless and assisted driving in the early military field to ensure driving safety.The main advantages of the meter wave radar are: small antenna size,high speed resolution and high range resolution.Excellent environmental adaptability in harsh extreme weather conditions,especially in dusty and dry snow environments,so that target detection efficiency is not disturbed.Firstly,this thesis introduces the research background and significance of the subject and summarizes the basic principles of radar equations,fuzzy functions and pulse compression techniques.Then the principle of triangular wave and sawtooth velocity and range measurement in frequency modulated continuous wave is deduced.The advantages and disadvantages of these two waveform speed measurement are analyzed.Since the symmetrical triangular wave will produce false targets in the target detection,the triangular wave groups with variable slope is introduced to eliminate the false target by the up-down sweep pairing methods.At the same time,MTI and MTD are introduced in this thesis,In both methods,the background clutter can be suppressed and the moving target detection can classify the dynamic target and the static target based on the moving target display.Considering that the sawtooth wave does not produce false targets in the measurement of velocity and is easier to implement in practical engineering,the sawtooth wave is used as the millimeter wave radar emission waveform in the external field experiment.Secondly,the four methods of the classic mean-level constant false alarm and ordered statistical constant false alarm processing algorithm are used.The advantages and disadvantages of the simulation are analyzed.The average constant false alarm and the ordered statistical constant false alarm algorithm with the highest detection efficiency are applied to the improved two-dimensional constant false alarm detection window method.The improved two-dimensional field window is compared with the two-dimensional rectangular window through the actual road test.The experiment proves that the improved two-dimensional field window detection efficiency is higher than the two-dimensional rectangular window.Finally,based on the AWR1642 development board developed by TI,the FMCW millimeter wave radar target detection and constant false alarm processing system is designed.The system includes three parts: radar front end,signal processing and display interface.The radar front end completes the sampling and collection of data and performs basic signal processing in the DSP subsystem of the AWR1642.At the same time,the signal processing result is transmitted to the MATLAB of the PC through the data interface of the ARM subsystem.However,based on the millimeter wave radar signal constant false alarm processing algorithm written by MATLAB,the received data is processed again,and the final processing result is displayed in the written GUI interface.
