Along with the progress of semiconductor and wireless communication,Bluetooth technology is extensively adopted in multimedia devices such as headset and loudspeaker.Nevertheless,contemporary domestic Bluetooth chips yield lower performance,larger power consumption and higher cost.This article designs a Bluetooth multimedia chip and completes the work of design and verification based on this background to fill up the technical gap between domestic chips and foreign ones.According to the application demands combined with the research on relevant products in integrated circuit industry,this article sets up the goal of optimized area and low power when establishing the project theme.The theme includes the selection of MCU type,the design of memory system,system clocks and the difficulties that will confront in the design process.Then in the frontend digital circuit design process,the author finished designing Bluetooth dual mode SoC architecture,the integration of main control unit and DMA module base on forward design process.In the meantime,the article designs and verifies the critical modules in Bluetooth dual mode specifically and presents an optimized realization method to reduce the area of the Bluetooth module in the chip.Eventually,the thesis simulate and verify the contents designed in this article.The area of the chip designed in the thesis is 3.9×5.4mm~2 with GMC0.13um CMOS process.It supports Bluetooth Ver.4.1 dual mode content.The thesis has completed the established design goal successfully.
