Research On Children's Digital Picture Book Based On Mobile Terminal Platform

With the development of the mobile Internet and the popularity of mobile devices,as well as parents' emphasis on childhood education,a growing number of apps dedicated to early childhood education have prompted.As one of the best reading materials for children's early education,picture books have also received attention from the education content industry.More and more children's APP have begun to go online to read the digital picture book,and children's digital picture books have entered people's field of vision in a variety of forms.This paper takes the children's digital picture book apps in IOS system as the research object,summarizes the current research status,development history and advantages of children's picture books and children's digital picture books through literature analysis method,and carries out the research of reading platform of children's digital picture books through case analysis method.According to the analysis results,this paper refers to some shortcomings of some apps of children's digital picture books on the mobile terminal platform in the current stage.Then,based on the beneficial attempts made by some platforms,some countermeasures are provided to provide reference for the future development of children's digital picture books.First of all,this paper expounds the research background from the popularization of mobile Internet and mobile devices,the huge development potential of children's digital reading market and widely attention of children's digital picture books.And base on existing literature,the development history,current status and market size of the picture book were analyzed.The paper focuses on the digital picture books of the main children's applications from four aspects:content resources,picture form,reading function and classification criteria.Then,the market prospect of children's digital picture books is illustrated through the advantages of children's digital picture book,the promotion of mobile terminal platform,the breakthrough of production technology,the increase of users' willingness to pay and the growth of potential users.Secondly,combined with the above analysis of the reading platform and related literature,this paper summarize the problems encountered in the development process of children's digital picture books in the emergence stage.The first is that the picture book resources do not match with the growth in user demand.Although the developer of children's applications are actively developing digital picture books,the problem of insufficient originality is widespread,and copyright fees and production costs are relatively high.Therefore,the picture resources on the platform are relatively scarce,but the number of users continues to grow.The second is that the digital picture book is not mature enough.According to the apps of digital picture books listed in the children's application,there are not many digital picture books that integrate sound,animation,games,video and many other elements.Most of the digital picture books use the way of dubbing the paper picture books,which is relatively simple,and some picture books with many interactive effects also have the problem of "moving because of the developer want it to move".The third problem is that the reading experience needs to be optimized,which mainly including the optimization of reading pages and the optimization of reading functions.The fourth problem is that the platform classification criteria are different and the age positioning is not clear in different platform.Finally,based on the inadequacies and attempts made by some platforms,four countermeasures have been proposed.Firstly,exploring the profit model to provide guarantees for the introduction of high-quality copyrights.Taking advantage of the digital platform to increase the original picture book resources.Secondly,actively carrying out the technology innovation,combined with the contents of the picture book,continuously optimize the representation of digital picture books;then,insisting in refined production to guarantee the quality of the content,and enrich the function of the digital picture book based on user needs;at last,clarifying the classification criteria and age positioning to instruct parents to choose the right digital picture book according to the reading data.
