Picture book is suitable for people of different ages read the book form, alongwith the progress and development of hardware and software, and wireless networktechnology, digital picture book reading has become one of the popular mobile deviceapplications.Apple IOS platform is a closed environment so that the quality of theapplication software not only has good controllability, but also has good off-the-shelfdevelopment framework to facilitate the application and popularization platform. Also,this platform is relatively fair and has ahead of the number of users based on a highlyattractive for the majority of independent developers. In this context, for thedevelopers, apple IOS platform is so attractive that it becomes the first choice fordeveloping mobile phone or tablet PC.The main work of this paper: the first is to clarify the origin and background ofthe subject, and conducted a survey of the market and its development status IOSmobile platform application reading picture books, picture books illustrate thetraditional way is not sufficient to meet the current child emotional and mental healthof individuals fully growing demand conditions, and IOS mobile platform interactivepicture book readings for children5-8years old were studied and analyzed, accordingto the characteristics of the development of interactive picture books for children’sbooks on a mobile platform, different levels of children for active choice to read, sostimulate children’s mental development.Second, the overall development of thefunctional content was designed studies, including overall function, art and interactivedesign.
