In Japan,the publishing of e-books has undergone 34 years of changes and development.In recent years,with the rapid popularization of the Internet and smart phones,the scale and operation mode of the electronic publication market have been greatly expanded.The social and commercial value of the production and marketing of electronic publications,mainly e-books and e-magazines,is continuously improving.Therefore,since the publication of electronic publications in Japan,it has received extensive attention and heated discussion from all walks of life.Japan is a leader in the development of e-books in Asia and even in the world.Its e-book industry characteristics,especially the construction of its commercial profit model and the experiences and lessons in its development deserve our reference,avoidance and reference.In the thirty-four years of Japan's e-book growth,Japan's e-book market has taken content as its core and science and technology as its wings.In the competition with the traditional publishing market,it has formed a commercial profit pattern that conforms to its own laws and advantages.These laws and characteristics are not only related to economic theory,but also to the common consumption habits and the characteristics of the practice field in social theory.Therefore,based on the principle of "field" theory,this paper introduces Bourdieu's "field" model,analyzes the market atmosphere and scale characteristics of Japanese e-book publishing,and combines the latest survey data of Japanese e-book publishing market from 2002 to 2018 according to the changes of current reading habits and consumption needs of Japanese e-book readers.Combing the development context of Japan's e-book publishing,analyzing the current e-book publishing market's operation status and market influencing factors,and then analyzing the revenue and circulation mode of Japan's e-book publishing market,this paper puts forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions for the development problems of Japan's e-book publishing market such as content,technology and platform,hoping to provide a theoretical model that can be used for reference for further research on Japan's e-book market.
