X Bank Informatization Strategy Research

Information construction has become an important component of the development strategy of modern bank.As a commercial bank established earlier in China,X bank has been following the trend of the development of information technology for more than 20 years.It has invested a lot of manpower and funds to carry out technological research and development,and has made a comprehensive promotion of the information construction of the bank.Since a series of remarkable achievements have been taken,it becomes one of the leading commercial banks.In the comprehensive promotion of information technology,X achieved a magnificent transformation from the traditional manual operation to the information processing,it also completed the electronic finance and the formation of online banking,telephone banking,mobile phone banking,SMS banking as the main body of the electronic banking service system.However,some problems still exist in the information construction.They pay much more attention to the business and despise the management.There is still a gap in system construction for bank risk management and office management.This paper uses the methods of literature review,SWOT analysis,Strategy Set Transformation and Key Successful Factors to study the informatization strategy.This paper consists of five parts.The first part is the starting point of this article,mainly introduces the research background and significance,and introduces the research status at home and abroad,as well as the research ideas and methods.The first part expounds the related concepts of the subject,and serves as the theoretical basis of this study.The second part introduces the current situation,development process,challenges and existing problems and reasons of X bank's informatization construction.The third part uses the SWOT analysis,Strategy Set Transformation and Key Successful Factors to analyze the information strategy of X bank.,and analyze its implementation through business data application and technical architecture.The fourth part analyzes the technology,strategy and reputation risks faced by X bank's information strategy,and puts forward three countermeasures.The fifth part is the end of this article.It makes a summary of this topic,and puts forward its own views and shortcomings of the research,and puts forward the prospect for the future research.Through the research of this paper,the author draws the following conclusions:(1)If X bank wants to gain competitive advantage in the fierce competition environment,it must reform its management strategy and management mode.This is the requirement of the development of information technology and the inherent requirement of the implementation of its informatization strategy.Although X bank has made certain achievements in the information construction,the management mode still follows the traditional manual operation management mode.But the banking informatization is not only the change of operation mode,but also the change of business mode and management idea.Therefore,the X bank needs the change its management pattern.(2)In the process of implementing the information strategy,it is inevitable to face technical risk,strategic risk and reputation risk,and X bank should have a correct understanding of these risks.The process cannot be left to chance and they should constantly improve the information system to minimize the loss caused by the risks.(3)The implementation of the information strategy should adhere to the integrity and systematicness.It is not only the unilateral pay of the R&D department,but also the cooperation of the business departments,the cooperative design of many departments.The system designed on the basis of the opinions of many departments to get the best user experience.(4)The implementation of information strategy involves four aspects of business,data,application and technical architecture,with a lot of content and high complexity.This needs to strengthen the construction of the talent team.At present,the X bank is based on experience and lacks the ability of independent research and development.The management of X bank should pay more attention to it.(5)The security problem is the core problem faced in information construction.It is also a prerequisite for the implementation of the informatization strategy.The information construction without security is the failure.So the security problem is the focus of all whitch must be considered in the framework of information strategy.
