Along with the development of information technology, computer technology has been extensively applied to the education measurement,and changed the traditional measurement methods which use paper and pen as instruments.It also brings about great changes to the educational measurement, and makes the computerized adaptive testing on the basis of item bank to have great development.There is great significance for the accuracy of exam with a well-built, fully functional item bank system.Modern educational technology as the breakthrough of modern education can promote educational thinking,update educational concept,push forward reform of education content,education form,education means,and make great changes of education system and educational structure,thus modern education technology is the subject that has to be learnt by teachers and students in normal university.There are massive students in normal universities participate in the examination of modern educational technology.Traditional exams need a lot of work in making papers,invigilating,counting results,analyzing papers and so on.Owing to this basis,this paper takes the modern educational technology common course as an example,and designs a process of computerized adaptive testing about the course.On the basis of general introduction of the item bank's present situation, this paper goes deep into the Item Response Theory,which is the basic of the item bank.The author mainly concentrate on studying the principle and technological process of item bank construction, including the choice of the item response model, parameters estimation,test score equating, selection strategy, determination of the initial value, test-terminating conditions and so on.That the process of parameters estimation, test score equating and selection strategy are the most important and difficult part.The paper has adopt joint maximum likelihood estimation to finish the estimation of examinees'ability and item parameters estimation, which is also the most important research part of this paper.The process of test score equating adopts anchor-test to make the parameters among the same scale and the paper uses the target information function to guide the preparation of the test with the method of maximum amount of information for item choice.On the basis of the content studied above, the author has deeply communicated with the teaching expert,started the work of test preparation about"modern educational technology"common course.Then the author has collected 60 examination questions of this course as an experimental item bank.After all of these work been done, the author began the design of the item bank, then adopted the environment of Visual C++ to achieve the process of parameter estimation.With the support of ASP and database technology to realize the function of computerized adaptive testing.In the end, the paper has summarized the the problem appearing in the research and pointed out the direction of future study.
