| At present, the development of career planning education for senior high school students in China varies greatly among provinces and cities, urban and rural areas and schools, especially in some economically underdeveloped areas and rural low-income families. On the whole, senior high school students are still at a medium level of development, showing the characteristics of lack of awareness of the professional world and lack of initiative.High school students are in the golden period of career exploration and choice, but most of the main members of rural low-income families have low educational level, and the awareness, content and channels of career planning provided to high school students in family education are limited, which makes them show greater confusion and randomness in goal setting and future choices, and often suspend, drop out and drop out,This needs to be made up in school education.By receiving good career planning education, establishing planning awareness and making career planning in line with their own conditions, they can not only improve their competitiveness in the job market in the future, lay a good foundation for their career future and improve their family economic conditions, but also reduce the incidence of suspension, drop out and drop out to a certain extent. In economically underdeveloped areas, enhancing their awareness of career and personal development through education can broaden the channels of family income and reduce the proportion of rural low-income families. As far as the country is concerned, improving the economic situation of rural low-income families is conducive to consolidating the achievements of poverty alleviation. However,in the existing research, there is less attention to senior high school students in rural areas and rural low-income families, and the exploration of relevant educational experience is not targeted. Therefore,it is particularly important to explore the development characteristics of career planning of senior high school students from low-income families in rural areas, and guide the content of career planning and career cognitive channels in teaching.Based on the existing research, this paper compiles the questionnaire of career planning ability of senior high school students from rural low-income families by using the methods of literature and questionnaire, and investigates its development status.Use the interview method to understand their needs in career planning, design the intervention plan combined with the current situation survey results and relevant theories, intervene with the experimental method, and test the intervention effect by combining the experimental data with students’ scores and classroom observation records. The main conclusions are as follows:(1)The ability, career information acquisition ability, career values cognition ability and self-analysis ability.(2)The ability of career planning of rural high school students from low-income families in different grades shows significant differences in all dimensions and total scores. There is a decreasing trend from senior one to senior three in career management and decision-making ability, career information cognition ability, career interest awareness ability, career values cognition ability and self-analysis ability.(3)The career planning ability of high school students from rural low-income families of different genders shows significant differences in career information cognition ability, career interest awareness ability and total score, and the score of boys is higher.(4)The career planning ability of senior high school students from rural low-income families of different ethnic groups has significant differences in four dimensions: career management and decision-making ability, career information cognition ability, career information acquisition ability and self-analysis ability, and the scores of ethnic minority students are higher.(5)The career planning ability of rural high school students from low-income families with different educational fathers has significant differences in the cognitive ability and total score of career information acquisition ability and career values. The higher the educational background of their father, the higher the score.(6)The career planning ability of rural high school students from low-income families with mothers with different degrees has very significant differences in three dimensions and total scores of career information cognition ability, career interest awareness ability and career information acquisition ability, and there are also significant differences in two dimensions of career values cognition and self-analysis ability.Specifically,in terms of vocational information cognition ability and self-analysis ability, high school education level > junior high school and below education level > undergraduate and above education level. In the ability of awareness of professional interests, the performance is high school education >Bachelor’s degree and above > junior high school and below. In the cognition and total score of professional values, the higher the mother’s education, the higher the score.(7)The intervention program has a significant effect on improving the career planning ability of high school students from low-income families in rural areas. The specific performance is as
