The reform of the new college entrance examination in Sichuan Province gives high school students more "autonomy" and "selectivity" in subject selection. The existing investigation shows that most students in provinces and cities implementing the new college entrance examination have blindness in subject selection. Therefore, career planning tasks will be advanced, and teachers should provide complete career counseling to help students plan their studies, careers and even their entire careers.According to the social cognitive career theory, environmental factors such as society, family and school environment can change individual psychological cognitive factors such as self-efficacy and outcome expectation, thus affecting individual career planning. Therefore, this study constructs a chain mediation model, aiming to explore the mechanism of career social support on the career planning ability of high school students, the mediating role of career learning experience and career self-efficacy in their relationship, and explore the intervention effect of career activity curriculum on the career planning ability of high school students. There are two studies in this paper:(1)In the first study,830 grade one high school students from Chengdu,Sichuan Province were surveyed by the Career Social Support Scale, the Career Exploration and Decision Learning Experience Scale, the Career Self-efficacy Scale and the Career Planning Ability Questionnaire. To explore the relationship between career social support, career learning experience, career self-efficacy and career planning ability of high school students, and further enrich the theoretical research on the influencing mechanism of career planning ability:(2)In the second Study, two homogenous classes were selected and divided into the experimental group and the control group based on study one.A total of eight career course interventions were carried out on the classes of the experimental group, while the control group didn’t involve career-related content. It mainly analyzes and discusses the intervention effect of career curriculum on the career planning ability of high school students, and provides a more mature career curriculum scheme system for the career education of high school students. The results are as follows:(1)In this study, the career planning ability of senior one students is at an average level. There are obvious differences in gender and single child.(2)There is a positive collection between Career social support, career learning experience, career self-efficacy and career planning ability.(3)Career social support plays a significant positive role in predicting the career planning ability of high school students;(4)Career learning experience and Career self-efficacy play partial agents between career social support and career planning ability;(5)Career learning experience and career self-efficacy play a partial chain agent role between career social support and career planning ability;(6)Career counseling activities can not only increase the learning experience of senior high school students, but also enhance their sense of self-efficacy.And ultimately improve their career planning skills. The effect of intervention is good and remarkable. In conclusion, this study concludes that career social support can not only directly affect high school students’ career planning ability, but also affect their career planning ability through career learning experience and career self-efficacy profile. Therefore, high school mental health teachers can design a series of career activity courses by increasing students’ career learning experience and enhancing their career self-efficacy,so as to improve their career planning ability.
